Redmond, WA, USA
Summary:
A bit about us: We are first-time parents to a baby girl who will be around 6 months old at the start of care. We’re an organized and thoughtful family who values consistency, communication, and creating a nurturing environment for our child. Mom works from home full-time and is looking for a collaborative nanny who can support both baby care and allow flexibility for shared moments throughout the day. Our little one enjoys floor time, music, reading, and interactive engagement, and we’re excited to find someone who will support her development and growth. We also have one friendly dog (no pet care required).
A bit about you: You are an experienced infant caregiver who is warm, engaging, and confident in your abilities with babies. You naturally interact through talking, singing, and play, and understand developmental needs like tummy time and structured routines. You are reliable, communicative, and patient, especially in a home where a parent is present and involved. You’re physically capable of caring for a growing infant and are comfortable working with first-time parents who may need reassurance and collaboration as trust is built. You are professional, safety-focused, and aligned with a health-conscious household.
Job Duties: Primary responsibilities are fully centered around the baby, including feeding (with pre-prepared food), following nap and wake schedules, engaging in developmentally appropriate play, and supporting routines. Additional tasks include washing bottles and completing baby laundry 1–2 times per week. The nanny will support naps (currently transitioning from contact naps to crib naps), participate in floor play and tummy time, and initially accompany mom and baby on walks, with the potential for independent outings over time. No driving, cooking, or pet care is required. “Text NANNY to 206-752-6917 to apply and schedule your interview in under 3 minutes.
