Summary:

A bit about us:
We are a close-knit and affectionate family who values warmth, kindness, communication, and routine. Our household is multigenerational, including my parents, so we’re one big, happy family with a friendly French bulldog who will want to be your bestie! We love books, music, crafts, and spending quality time together. We are looking for someone who will feel like a natural extension of our family and create a safe, comforting, and joyful environment for our children. On a typical work day, you’ll usually just be around me (Mom), working from home, Grandma, our baby, and dog.

Our 6-month-old baby boy is sweet, easy-going, and interactive! He adores being held and engaged, especially through talking, singing, and reading!

Our 3-year-old daughter is at daycare most of the day. She is a charismatic toddler who loves dancing, singing, laughing, and storytelling! She is a great big sister, and she loves her baby brother so much!

A bit about you:
You are warm, positive, patient, and emotionally intuitive! You genuinely enjoy engaging with infants and young children through reading, singing, dancing, storytelling, and play. You are respectful and adept at following family routines and protocols, communicating openly, and bringing a loving, peaceful presence into the home. You’re comfortable with a small dog and appreciate a family that communicates when the children are not well and vice versa. Kids bring out the silly side in you, and you know how to have fun!

Job Duties:
Primary responsibilities include caring for an infant throughout the day by supporting feeding routines, developmental milestones, ensuring safety (and communicating any concerns or important observations to be aware of), tummy time, naps (contact naps and naps in the crib), changing diapers/ensuring good hygiene, bottle preparation, and introducing solids when appropriate. The nanny will also engage the children through books, music, singing, narrating, and playful interaction while maintaining a warm and attentive environment. Additional responsibilities include children’s laundry, simple children’s meal prep, light tidying of child-related spaces, and may include cleaning bottles, baby dishes, high chair, and breast pump parts.
