A bit about us:
We are an open-minded, kind, sports-loving family with a lovable Labradoodle. We are an LGBTQI+ friendly family, and we welcome diversity and inclusion. We’re looking for someone who will be a consistent, positive role model, and who comes to work with a smile on their face!
Our 4-year-old son is very caring, active, and physically adept! He likes dinosaur songs, playing make-believe, and Octonauts. He loves to be outdoors running around! In August, he’ll start transitional kindergarten so we are focused on preparing him for this transition (including potty training).
A bit about you:
You are an engaging, positive, and proactive nanny. Some of your friends have described you as a “ray of sunshine”! You are someone who would rather be early than risk being late. You are a lover of language, staying curious, early learning, activities, and fun! You are a nanny who can talk things through and set boundaries in a patient and understanding way. You’re always on top of safety and have strong communication skills with children and adults. You enjoy being helpful and providing stability, organization, and nurturing (screen-free) care.
Job Duties: Assist our son with his daily routine, including brushing his teeth and any other personal hygiene tasks, including potty training, prepare healthy children’s meals, play and reading, light educational activities to help prepare him for T-K, go on outdoor adventures to the park and museums, play outside, children’s laundry, and tidying the play area. In the future: homework help, driving to extracurricular activities, and taking on additional organizational household tasks and/or light errands.
Position Highlights:
Qualifications: 5 years of childcare experience, strong references, previous potty training experience, clear communication skills, a valid Driver’s license, a clean driving record, a reliable, personal vehicle that you are comfortable driving children in, a genuine love for children, flexible to start at 6:30 a.m. one or two mornings a week, and fluent in English.
Set yourself apart: You have experience teaching preschool, transitional kindergarten, or kindergarten students. You are flexible and often able to work additional hours when requested.

*Flexibility needed M-F from 6:30a-5p
Starting ASAP!
