Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Have you raised children of your own? Are you seeking a position that allows you to customize your schedule? If so, we welcome you to our Back Up Care Team, working with a variety of families around your customizable schedule!

As a back-up nanny, you will:

Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through school-aged children. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

We provide:

Wage: $22-25 per hour
$10-15 Daily Mileage Stipend
Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments
Benefits include: medical stipend, paid vacation time, paid holidays, student loan repayment matching funds, or retirement savings matching funds for full-time work

About you:

At least 18 years old
Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
Reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel around Seattle's Eastside (Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish)
You are available at least 3 weekdays Monday - Friday for 8-hour shifts between 7am and 7pm
