We are caring, patient, and attentive first-time parents looking for an amazing nanny to care for and love our toddler! Our current nanny is moving out of state, but she will hopefully get to show you the ropes. We are practicing “Gentle Parenting” and are looking for a nanny who will align with our parenting style and house rules. One of our biggest rules is no screen time in front of our child so we need a nanny who can abstain from checking their phone until their breaks. I will be working from upstairs. My husband usually works outside the home. Sometimes Grandma will travel from Iran and stay with us for a month. We are on the quieter side, but we both value someone who is outgoing and talkative.
Our 2-year-old daughter is very sweet and she likes water play a lot! She’s into Art and loves reading books! She likes talking about different topics, painting, and stickers. She really enjoys getting to help with the cooking. We prepare dinner together, and she loves to unload the dishwasher with me.
A bit about you:
You are a chatty, confident, and friendly nanny! Toddlers are your favorite age, and you love narrating the day to encourage verbal growth. You are great at teaching and supervising daily life skills with unlimited patience and clear communication. You’re very engaged and love what you do! You can align with our positive parenting style that encourages our daughter to have autonomy. Safety is always a high priority for you. You are comfortable working in an environment where you are not permitted to take the child outside the home and backyard. You excel at coming up with a variety of indoor activities and backyard playtime.
Job Duties: Engaging the toddler in age-appropriate play, games, and enrichment, child’s food prep, diaper changing, potty training, age-appropriate sensory play, following parents’ preferred parenting style which includes no punishment and allowing their child to make her own choices (unless safety is compromised), child’s laundry, organizing toys, cleaning toys, and cleaning play area weekly.
Position Highlights:
Qualifications: 1-2 years of prior nanny experience with toddlers from 2-3 years old, at least one previous nanny placement, knowledge of toddler development, fluent in English, valid Driver’s license, a reliable car, and CPR plus First Aid certifications. Willing to abide by our house rules such as no cell phone use when you are with our child (on your breaks, you are welcome to be on your phone!), and no outdoor play beyond our backyard at this.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (9a-5p)
Starts early/mid June 2025!
Pay: $35 an hour
