Position Type: Temporary Part-Time
Location: Shoreline, W, 98155
Office: Jovie of Seattle, WA

Summary:
A bit about us: We are a warm, active, and low-key family in Shoreline looking for a nurturing and dependable nanny to care for our infant son beginning in mid-August. Our family consists of mom, dad, our soon to be 4-month-old son, and our friendly older dog named Marley. Our home is centered around creating a calm, safe, and respectful environment, and we value open communication and teamwork. One parent will generally be home for part of each shift, either working remotely or on parental leave, but you'll have primary responsibility for our little one during your scheduled hours. We can guarantee employment through at least November, with a strong possibility the position may continue beyond that while we wait for an opening at our preferred daycare.

A bit about you: You are an experienced infant nanny who confidently steps into the day as a self-starter and quickly becomes a trusted part of the family team. You have strong infant care knowledge, remain calm and patient during fussy moments, and enjoy supporting babies through important developmental milestones. You're an excellent communicator who keeps parents informed about daily routines, feedings, naps, and any changes you notice throughout the day. Most importantly, you're dependable, playful, nurturing, and genuinely enjoy providing attentive, hands-on care to infants.

What You’ll Do: Your primary focus will be providing loving, attentive care for one infant, including bottle feeding, diaper changes, naps, tummy time, age-appropriate play, and supporting developmental activities. Daily responsibilities also include neighborhood walks, washing bottles and baby-related dishes, completing the baby's laundry, and keeping the nursery and baby spaces tidy. The family also has a friendly senior dog who requires minimal care during the morning, including letting her into the yard, feeding her, and giving a simple medication in a treat. This position is primarily home-based, and while a parent may be present for part of the day, you'll be trusted to independently manage the infant's routine and care. “Text NANNY to 206-752-6917 to apply and schedule your interview in under 3 minutes.
