Family Location: Shorewood, MN
Summary:
A bit about us:
We’re a lively and adventurous family of four—Mom, Dad, two energetic boys (ages 9 and 7), and our two loving dogs who complete the crew. Our family thrives on curiosity and exploring the world around us. Whether we’re cheering at sporting events, traveling to new destinations, or diving into new hobbies, we cherish spending quality time together. We aim to live life to the fullest, creating intentional and meaningful experiences that allow our boys to discover and pursue their passions. Mom and Dad both work in Finance and lead busy lives, so we’re looking for an extra set of hands to help us navigate our evenings—and that’s where you come in!
A bit about you:
We’re looking for someone who shares our values and can be a dependable partner in supporting our family’s day-to-day life. With our boys growing older, we need someone with intrinsic motivation who takes initiative—whether it’s loading the dishwasher, letting the dogs out, or tossing in a quick load of laundry for the boys. You are naturally engaging, fostering meaningful connections with the boys, but also understand when they need their own space to recharge. You’re curious about the world and eager to help our boys explore their endless questions about life. You have a knack for stepping in and taking charge when necessary, modeling positive, kind, and thoughtful behavior. If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you join our family on this exciting journey!
Job Duties:
Each day will bring its own rhythm, depending on after-school activities, but the overall flow will remain consistent. Your day will start at 3:00 PM, arriving at our home to let the dogs out for a quick bathroom break and taking care of light household tasks—like starting a load of laundry, tidying up after breakfast, or prepping for the evening ahead. The boys will arrive home around 3:20 PM, ready for a snack and some downtime to decompress before tackling their homework. Once that’s done, the evening may involve heading to dinner, getting ready for sports or practice, or simply relaxing before a family meal. Whatever the plan, you’ll be there to help support and coordinate as needed. Driving will be required, and we’ll reimburse you for mileage when using your personal car for transportation.
Position Highlights: Guaranteed hours, competitive pay
Qualifications: Motivated, Kind, engaging, and curious
Set yourself apart: Interest in sports, music, legos, and Spanish speaking would be a plus!
