Jovie
Seattle, WA, USA

Summary:
A bit about us: We are an easygoing, low-key family in Seattle consisting of Mom, Dad, and our 7 month old baby girl. We’re seeking a full-time nanny to care for our infant daughter in our home while we work. During the first few months, mom will be working from home to nurse throughout the day, so we’re looking for someone comfortable partnering in an environment where a parent is home. Our days are centered around play, reading, music, and getting outside for walks to nearby parks. We value a calm, attentive caregiver who enjoys supporting early development and milestones in a loving, safe way.

A bit about you: You are a nurturing, engaging nanny who loves working with infants and understands the rhythms of feeding, diapering, and nap schedules. You’re physically capable of carrying a baby and navigating stairs, comfortable with contact naps, and enjoy spending time outdoors. You’re attentive, communicative, and confident supporting developmental milestones through play, conversation, and reading. You’re also comfortable in a home where a parent is present during the workday, especially early on.

Job Duties: This role is primarily childcare-focused and includes engaging the baby in age-appropriate play, reading books, playing music, and taking walks outside. You’ll support feeding routines (bringing baby to mom to nurse and later feeding solids), diaper changes, naps, and maintaining a safe, comforting environment. Light child-related household tasks are expected, such as tidying after playtime and meals and occasional light vacuuming. “Text NANNY to 206-752-6917 to apply and schedule your interview in under 3 minutes.
