Summer Nanny in San Francisco for 5-year-old Twins and a 9-year-old
San Francisco, CA
Temporary
Seeking Experienced Nanny

A bit about us:
We are an easy-going and respectful family of 5 with a small, friendly dog, Nico. Our house is full of energy and can be quite loud sometimes. We both work hybrid schedules, so sometimes we work from home in our upstairs office. We will provide arts and crafts materials, and we fully support our nanny coming up with activities and places to take the kids. We have a variety of memberships in the area so that trips to the zoo or science museum are options.
Our 5-year-old twin daughters are identical, but their personalities are uniquely different. One daughter is really sweet, spontaneous, and incredibly athletic. She is the one climbing to the top of the play structure first. She likes to pretend she is a kitty cat or a bunny.
Our other daughter is always the teacher. She likes structure and knowing what to expect. They are both super energetic and go incredibly fast on their scooters. Although they enjoy playing with each other, they will both be excited to play with their new friend (you)!
Our 9-year-old son will be in summer camps fairly often. He has a calm presence. He likes video games and YouTube.
A bit about you:
You LOVE kids, and you love to play! If you had a motto, it might be, “Variety is the spice of life!”. You are caring, attentive, and authentically you! You’re no stranger to active kids plus occasional tantrums, and you can stay focused on safety. You are comfortable working in a home with a small, sweet dog. You can be a little flexible regarding the routine since camp pick-up times and locations will vary in the summer. You naturally connect to children and recognize them for their individuality.
Job Duties: Driving the kids (in our family car) to the park and other outings, picking our son up from summer camp in the late afternoon usually, keeping kids busy staying creative, engaging with children, outdoor play, making snacks and lunches, occasional laundry, child-related cleaning such as cleaning up after meals and crafts, and letting the dog outside.
Position Highlights:
Set yourself apart: You like to get out of the house; taking kids to the museum and the park is fun for you too! You have a unique skill set that you are willing to share with kids.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9a-5p)
Starts June 6th and ends August 22nd
Pay: $35-$38 an hour
**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
*Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time. This family is following these recommended guidelines cautiously and conservatively and expect the caregiver to do the same to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
