Compensation:
Competitive pay of $20 to $24 per hour, plus an additional $3 per hour for each additional sibling

• Consistent placements with families (weekday daytime, afternoons, and/or evenings)
• Weekend shifts with consistent families (typically 4-hour shifts; option to work up to 2 shifts per day for more hours)
• Flexible “on-call” shifts with varied families—work when you want by self-selecting open assignments through our My Jovie App

We’re looking for engaging, creative, and child-focused individuals who enjoy play, reading, arts & crafts, outdoor activities, and hands-on fun in family homes. This is a great opportunity for those with open daytime availability and a desire to gain meaningful childcare experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Childcare or nanny experience preferred
• Special needs experience in any capacity is a big plus (siblings, volunteering, friends, etc.)
• Childcare references from paid or unpaid experience
• Availability for part-time or full-time schedules, with 4-hour shifts between:
  • Weekdays: 12 pm – 8 pm (daytime availability highly preferred)
  • Weekends: 8 am – 6 pm
• Reliable and insured transportation to travel to various family homes
• Cell phone with data to accept and manage assignments

Working Conditions & Requirements:

• Active, kid-centric environment including play, activities, and clean-up
• Time spent outdoors, weather permitting (parks, walks, backyard play, etc.)
• Fast-paced, engaging environment supporting children’s needs

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Ability to lift 35 pounds safely
• Ability to get up and down from the floor frequently
• Ability to react quickly to various situations
• Ability to respond to emergent situations calmly, safely, and effectively
