Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment this summer. The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and school-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about childcare and enjoys engaging with children through educational and fun activities. Infant experience a plus!!!

Duties

Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety at all times.
Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, feeding, and dressing.
Educate children through play-based learning techniques to foster their cognitive and social skills.
Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children. No housework; common sense clean up of children's activities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or similar roles.
Strong understanding of toddler care. Infant care understanding desired, but not required.
Ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain is essential.
Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.
Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the family's needs.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
