Summer Babysitter
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment this summer. The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and school-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about childcare and enjoys engaging with children through educational and fun activities. Infant experience a plus!!!
Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, feeding, and dressing.
- Educate children through play-based learning techniques to foster their cognitive and social skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children. No housework; common sense clean up of children's activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of toddler care. Infant care understanding desired, but not required.
- Ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the family's needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
