A bit about us:
We’re a liberal, caring family of 4 who love the outdoors, good food, and connecting with nature. We’re very open-minded and enjoy learning about other cultures, etc. My husband and I are both scientists; we like structure and tend to create a calm, thoughtful environment. We also like to have fun and be silly with our kids! I work from home 2 days a week and would love the chance to soak in a little baby time when I have breaks or at the end of my work day while our nanny helps with the dinner prep. My husband works outside the home. We are practicing respectful parenting, and looking for someone open to learning new things.

Our baby girl is a peaceful infant. She’ll be 6 months old in January. Her idea of a fun afternoon is lying on a picnic blanket in a park, looking up at the trees. She also likes when you read books to her. She responds well to people who are gentle and loving.

Our 6-year-old son will usually be at school followed by an after-school program. He is boisterous, intelligent, and friendly. If you’re able to do date nights 1-2 times a month, you’d be caring for both children.

You are open to sleep training without the cry-it-out method and aligning with the parents on their decisions about parenting. You love what you do, and you care for children as if they were your own!
