College Tutors of Minneapolis is looking for an engaging full time Title I Middle School Math Tutor at Hope Academy in Minneapolis, MN. 

This is a full-time position beginning in November 2026. There is an optional opportunity to begin this role earlier as a part-time position (Thursdays and Fridays) for applicants whose schedule allows, with a transition to the full-time position in November.

Pay: $30-$40 an hour, depending on qualifications. This position is eligible for benefits. 

Full time schedule: 

Monday: 8:30a-4:30p

Tuesday: 9:45a-4:30p

Wednesday: 9:45a-4:30p (once a month the Wednesday start time will be 8:30am for a morning meeting)

Thursday: 9:45a-4:30p

Friday: 9:45a-4:30p

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II small group instruction to students who are identified as at-risk for math

• Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning

• Use progress monitoring to assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need

• Attend Title staff meetings and professional development opportunities
• Note: On Fridays, the math interventionist will oversee a shared WIN time for both Title math and Title reading students. Reading assignments for students will be provided.

Faculty Qualifications

• Minimum BS or BA in Education, Mathematics, or Related Field

• Valid teaching license in good standing preferred

• Training in intervention methods strongly preferred; please provide certificates

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
