You are someone who engages with each child’s unique personality and knows how to bring out the best in them. You are organized, capable of managing a busy household, and reliable. We trust you to be present, dependable, and fully focused on the children. You are passionate about working with kids and confident in your experience, bringing a strong, grounded presence to the role. Flexibility is important, as our home can be lively and schedules may shift. You stay calm under pressure, adapt easily, and help reinforce structure through playdates and daily routines.
Job Duties:
Every day will be a bit different, but our standard schedule every two weeks is as follows: Week 1 - Mon/Tues (2 kids), Wed/Thurs (3 kids), Fri (5 kids). Week 2 - Mon/Tues (no kids), Wed/Thurs (5 kids), Fri (no kids). School ends daily at 2:45 p.m. with the nanny picking up the children, and on some days, the kids are to be picked up at 4pm. Calm transition home into the afternoon. You’ll support them with chores, homework, and getting them to and from other activities. This would mean, a light snack and/or prepping an early dinner before pickups. We focus on setting routine with the kids that they thrive on and participate in. We also have 3 dogs that the children help to care for. Additional duties include assisting them with their laundry and helping them get organized for the following day. We ask that you leave the home in better shape than you found it, maintaining a tidy and orderly environment. On the days when there aren’t children in the home, we would love for the nanny to help with global resets of the home.
Position Highlights: 15 hours a week guaranteed
Qualifications: Responsible, reliable, engaging, and organized
Set yourself apart: Someone who is sporty, as the children are into many different sports!
Schedule: Starting as soon as the right fit is identified on Monday-Friday from 2:45-6 pm. Going until at least the end of the school year with the opportunity to flex into the summer and the following school year.
