Our evenings often include playing games together, and we enjoy a home environment filled with humor, laughter, and plenty of joking around. Our kids are active and involved in sports and other activities, and we make movement and staying active a regular part of our family routine. We are an easygoing family who values kindness, respect, and treating others well. While we have high expectations for the quality of care and support our nanny provides, we also recognize that being a nanny is meaningful and important work. We strive to value, respect, and support our nanny and hope to build a positive, long-term relationship with someone who will become an important part of our family.

We are looking for a mature, organized, and dependable caregiver who is punctual, communicative, and takes initiative. Our ideal candidate will be a positive influence and role model for our children, with a strong preference for someone who has experience tutoring in STEM subjects. At least two years of experience working with older children is preferred. We are looking for someone who is tenacious, engaged, and committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality support. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Job Duties:
The nanny will oversee the children's after-school routines, including snack preparation, homework, reading, and workbook assignments, with an emphasis on reviewing their work and providing thoughtful feedback. They will coordinate with the children's STEM, French, and other tutors, help manage the family calendar and activity paperwork, and communicate regularly with the parents and tutors. The role will also include transportation to sports, activities, appointments, tutoring, and other commitments, as well as library trips and returning/checking out books. Strong organization, follow-through, and punctuality are essential, as the nanny will take ownership of planning each afternoon and ensuring the children are where they need to be on time. The nanny will also provide weekly updates to the parents and plan a monthly one-on-one outing with each child.

Qualifications: Reliable, Intuitive, Organized and a great communicator with previous school ages children experience

Schedule: Starting ASAP, Monday-Thursday from 3:15-6:45 pm. Ending at the end of the school year, but can continue into the summer for the right fit.
