A bit about us:
I’m an open, honest, single mom with three active, often loud, and adventurous daughters. We always put a positive spin on things and have a growth mindset. My communication style is direct, and vice versa, you can always be direct with me. I will value your input.
My 12-year-old daughter is incredibly intelligent and empathetic. She loves to read and make people laugh. Sometimes she acts like a 2nd parent to her little sisters. I’d love for her to enjoy being a preteen for a change.
My 8-year-old daughter is our “why not” child. She’s into theatre and acting. She loves dressing up and playing in the dirt or jumping in puddles.
My other 8-year-old daughter is all passion and fragile ego. She’s a great friend because she advocates for others and never gives up. She loves Math and can build an entire village out of cardboard and masking tape.
A bit about you: You are a playful caregiver who anticipates needs and knows how to be proactive. You are open to honest communication and feedback; you prefer direct communication with a family who respects your ideas. You are an awesome multi-tasker and a safe driver. You are not easily overwhelmed; you are patient and positive.
Job Duties: Picking up the twins from school and driving them home, driving the girls to their extracurricular activities, playing with them, listening to them, homework help, supervising the kids doing their chores, light tidying, and making simple dinners for the family.
Position Highlights:
Qualifications: You have babysitting experience, experience with multiples or sibling care, great references, a Driver’s license, a clean driving record, a lot of patience, and are comfortable driving children in your car.
Set yourself apart: You have experience with STEM, nature, and/or engineering activities and would love to incorporate those activities into your playtime. You are bilingual in English and Spanish or French. You think jumping spiders are adorbs (we have one, but you don’t have to interact)!
Schedule: Monday-Friday (2-6p)
Starts ASAP!
Duration: Ends June 2025
Pay: $23-$28 an hour
**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired. This job is not visa eligible.
