A bit about us:
We’re a very open-minded, creative, and laid-back family of three! We both work in entertainment, and my husband works from home most days. We have two small dogs, Chester and Weezer. We are raising our daughter to be culturally aware, kind, and considerate. We’re flexible and receptive to our nanny’s expertise and suggestions.
Our 10-month-old daughter (in January 2026) is an energetic, healthy baby. She loves books and being read to! She’s babbling and enjoys when we talk to her and sing to her.
A bit about you:
You are known for your patience and calming presence. You’re great at asking questions and communicating with parents. You love to engage babies and toddlers with age-appropriate activities and stimulation without the use of screens.
Job Duties:
All child-related care, including bottle feeding, feeding purees, later tranisitioning to solids, making purees occasionally, simple child’s meal prep, diaper changes, following wake windows and nap routine, engaging in play, going for walks, reading, sensory play, ensuring safety, light household tasks related to our daughter such as wiping down toys, wiping high chair, cleaning children’s dishes and bottles, and communicating with parents.

Qualifications: 5 years of childcare experience with infants (10-20 months old), must be comfortable with dogs, CPR certification or willing to get, fluent in English, good communication skills, a reliable vehicle, valid Driver’s License, flexible to work additional hours on occasion or stay later, and able to engage our child without screens.
Set yourself apart: It would be a major bonus if you have any kind of medical background and/or if you would be willing to commute to Thousand Oaks if we relocate in the future.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8:30a-4:30p)
Starts January 5, 2026!
Duration: Approximately 9 months
How to Apply:
Pay: $25-$30 an hour
