Job Duties:
Child-Focused Responsibilities: Provide attentive childcare, including feeding, diapering, naps, age-appropriate educational play, reading, safety supervision, and emotional support. Support her developmental, educational, and social growth through engaging activities that prepare her for preschool and beyond. Provide transportation to and from school (in the future), extracurricular activities, medical appointments, and other scheduled events. Assist with potty training, homework support, and organization of school supplies, projects, and personal belongings as she grows. Maintain open communication with parents regarding development and feedback, daily activities, and travel with the family as needed with advance notice.
Household & Family Support: Prepare nutritious kid meals and simple family dinners, including meal planning, grocery shopping, and packing school lunches. Manage child-related laundry, maintain cleanliness and organization of child’s play and sleep areas, keep the kitchen tidy, and load/unload the dishwasher. Monitor and restock the child’s clothing, shoes, supplies, and seasonal necessities using the family-provided credit card. Schedule and coordinate child’s medical, dental, and other appointments. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of child-related items, including regular cleaning of car seat.
Errands & Additional Duties: Run family-related errands such as grocery shopping, package and mail retrieval, dry-cleaning pickup, and transportation for appointments. Provide occasional transportation support for mom’s appointments and errands. Assist with light pet care, including feeding, walking, and coordinating grooming appointments as needed. Track household inventory and proactively support an organized, efficient home environment. Anticipate the family’s evolving needs and take initiative to streamline daily routines and reduce parents’ workload.
Position Highlights:
Candidates should have significant experience caring for toddlers and young children, strong child development knowledge, previous potty training experience, fluency in English, a clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, pediatric and adult CPR certification, organizational skills, intermediate cooking abilities, basic swim ability, dog-friendly, be willing to take driving, drug, and educational screens if requested, willing to travel with family with notice, and comfort balancing childcare with household management responsibilities.

A background in Child Development, Household Manager experience, bilingual Spanish/English skills, and creative developmental activity ideas would be highly valued.
