Family Location: 94062
Summary:
A bit about us:
We’re a kind, honest, and inclusive family of 4. We’re fully vaccinated and conscientious about health and clear communication. We love staying active, skiing, spending time with family, snuggles with our kiddos, and going to amusement parks. We also have three, large, friendly (and sometimes goofy!) dogs, so being comfortable around pets is a must. One parent works from home often, and the other has a changing schedule, so flexibility and communication are important.
Our 17-month-old daughter loves running, climbing, and going to the beach or the park! She has recently been very social with her peers and likes sharing her toys.
Our 10-year-old son is a fun, thoughtful school-aged child. He loves Math, skiing, reading, and riding his bike. He enjoys hangin’ with his friends, and he loves his sister! He makes up little songs for her and likes to chase her around.
A bit about you:
You’re energetic, patient, and not easily overwhelmed by a busy toddler on the move! You enjoy getting outside, taking day trips to the beach, and other adventures with our toddler, creative play, and finding a variety of ways to engage kids without relying on screens. You always prioritize safety and open communication. You’re comfortable being around parents who work from home, and are also great at being self-directed and working independently. You’re reliable, balanced, and take pride in creating a safe, happy environment for children to grow and thrive.
Job Duties:
Primary focus during the day is our todder, changing diapers, following nap routine, plan fun, age-appropriate activities (parks, outings, classes, playdates), care for both children with attention and positivity, school drop-offs and pick-ups, drive children to activities (family car provided), prepare meals for the kids and occasional family meals, grocery shop for ingredients you need for meal planning (card provided), children’s laundry and light household tasks, loading/unloading the dishwasher, encourage independence (chores, cleaning up, learning life skills), support learning/homework, let the dogs out in the backyard and refill water bowls, and keep things organized and safe.
Position Highlights:
Set yourself apart: You love cooking or meal prep (advanced at cooking), are very proactive, and/or excel at planning fun, engaging days for kids.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (with flexibility up to 6 PM as needed)
Starts April 27th or ASAP!
Pay: $32-$38 an hour
