This role is for someone who takes pride in exceptional care, order, and follow-through.
Think: Mary Poppins meets cruise ship butler — warm, calm, proactive, and deeply attentive to detail.
While childcare is the heart of this role, we are very active, hands-on parents. That means there are windows of time where the children are with us — and during those times, we want someone who naturally shifts into household support mode without needing to be managed or reminded.
If you believe great care extends beyond children to the environment they live in, you’ll thrive here. If you prefer strictly defined tasks or resist shifting gears, this will not be a fit.
About Our Family
We are a values-driven family of four living in Ladera Ranch.
We believe:
- children thrive in calm, orderly environments
- great caregivers are partners, not helpers
- professionalism and warmth are not opposites
Mom is often home and actively involved. Dad works primarily outside the home. We love experiences, travel, creativity, and structure — and we run our household with intention.
We also have one small dog who believes she is part of the team.
