Part-time Nanny in Anaheim, CA for a 6-month-old
Anaheim, CA
Part Time
Childcare
Experienced
Family Location: 92807
Summary:
A bit about us:
We are an outdoorsy, fun family of three with a little, elderly doggie. We are go-with-the-flow, active people. Pre-baby, I was not like that! Now our house is lived in; it’s cozy. We’re not neat freaks (who had time?), but I do care about health and good hygiene. We try to be shoe-free, especially in our daughter’s room. We love Jesus in this house. I am currently working from home and generally in my office. I am still breastfeeding so those are usually the only times I step away. My husband works outside the home usually. We’d love a nanny who listens and can be an extension of us; someone who really cares and loves their job!
Our 6-month-old (in September) baby girl likes to cuddle and prefers her naps…on you! She’s looking for a fun nanny who will let her be herself. She’s showing early signs of independence. Hovering constantly doesn’t work for her. She loves to play, eat, sleep, and repeat!
A bit about you:
You are active and engaged in our daughter’s development. You have good infant child development knowledge, and can provide age-appropriate activities (without screens) while ensuring safety and promoting some independence. You like baby cuddles, nature, and are fun! You have a positive attitude and are dependable.
Job Duties: All child-related care such as feeding, tummy time, changing diapers, burping, cuddling, putting down for naps, playing, singing, reading. Household tasks are generally child-related cleaning, and baby laundry. Additional tasks include dishes and making simple family dinners (meat and vegetables) and letting our dog outside. Currently, we don’t need any driving, but in the future, driving our daughter in your car to swim classes or outings that are usually close by and no more than 10 mi away.
Position Highlights:
Qualifications: You have at least 1-2 years of in-home or daycare childcare experience in the 6-12 month age group, infant CPR certification, a valid Driver’s license, clean driving record, and must be okay with dogs.
Set yourself apart: You are bilingual (Spanish and English) and willing to teach our baby some Spanish words. We’d love if you spoke both languages in our home. You have previously been a nanny for an infant, and have more than 2 years of infant experience.
Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday (8a-5p)
Friday (8a-1p)
Starting in August/September!
Pay: $26-$30 an hour
**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
