A bit about us:
We’re a welcoming multicultural family of 3 with pets (cats). I’m Mexican-American, and my husband is Japanese-American. We are first-time parents doing our best to create a warm and positive environment for our son. We sing songs and are silly! We like food, movies, and being at home together. We need a night nanny to help us get as much sleep as possible.

Our 1-month-old baby boy loves bathtime; he’s a really good baby! He cries when he needs something; he’s a reasonable baby. He’s pretty active and alert when he’s awake, and he’s a champion eater!

A bit about you:
You are caring, independent (able to take ownership once we show you the routine), and experienced with newborns. You’re reliable and punctual with good communication. You’re alert and present as a night nanny. You like to engage, talk, and sing to babies when they are awake. You’re willing to sleep train an infant and give some hot tips to new parents like us!

Job Duties:
All baby-related tasks such as swaddling, soothing, rocking, burping, bottle-feeding, sterilizing baby bottles, prepping baby bottles, changing diapers, changing baby bedding and clothing as needed, providing support for Mom and Dad to help them get as much sleep as possible. Household tasks include light tidying and organizing, family laundry (negotiable per your comfort level), and feeding the cats in the morning (per your comfort level).

Position Highlights:
  • Guaranteed Hours
  • Some Sick Pay/PTO
  • No cooking or driving required
  • Smoke-free home

Qualifications: Infant CPR certification, prior in-home nanny experience with a newborn, fluent in English, able to climb stairs, and work in a home with cats.

Set yourself apart: You have previous experience with sleep training infants, and/or you are bilingual (English/Spanish).

Schedule: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday (10p-6a)
Starts ASAP (Duration 3-4 months approximately)!

Pay: $35-$45 an hour
