Full-Time Nanny for Toddler (40 hrs per week) Placement
Jovie
Seattle, WA, USA
Summary:
A bit about us: We’re a warm and engaging family in our 30s working in the tech world, who value humor, creativity, and a love of learning. We're seeking a full-time nanny to care for our sweet and active toddler, with occasional care for our preschool-aged daughter when she’s home from daycare. Our ideal start date is mid-to-late June, but we can be flexible into July to find the right fit. Care will be primarily for our toddler through September 2026, when he’s set to begin full-time daycare. We live near parks, playgrounds, and the zoo, and love encouraging outdoor adventures and curiosity-driven play.
A bit about you: You’re reliable, patient, communicative, and genuinely enjoy engaging with toddlers. You have a solid foundation of experience and are confident managing a full day of care with a little one, navigating everything from outdoor walks to lunchtime to wind-down routines. You’re up to date on all vaccinations, including COVID and Tdap, and you take health and safety seriously. If you love sensory play, music classes, or a walk to the zoo, you’ll feel right at home here.
Job Duties: Daily responsibilities include meal and snack prep for the toddler, facilitating nap time, engaging in play and outings (like the park or zoo), and keeping the child’s spaces tidy. You’ll also handle light child-related tasks like laundry and basic food prep (cutting fruit, warming meals). In the afternoons, you may spend a short time with the preschooler and assist with dinner prep as needed.
Start Date: Mid-to-late June, but we can be flexible into July to find the right fit.
