Family Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Summary:
A bit about us:
We are a family of four; Mom, Dad, and two energetic boys, ages 4 years and 10 months. We are a laid-back and relaxed family who also enjoy planning fun activities and making the most of our time together. Our boys are active, curious, and full of energy, so we love finding ways to keep them engaged and having fun. We enjoy spending time at the pool, golfing, and getting together with friends and family. Overall, we are an active family who loves being out and about, trying new things, and enjoying quality time together!
A bit about you:
We are looking for a patient, reliable, flexible, and positive nanny who brings high energy and enjoys being actively engaged in the children’s day. Our ideal caregiver will be comfortable participating in activities, including swimming, and will take initiative in planning fun, age-appropriate activities, outings, and play without needing detailed direction each day. We are seeking a self-starter who is social, easygoing, open, and engaging, while also supporting the children’s development and helping them reach important milestones.
The ideal candidate will have several years of childcare experience, including experience caring for both infants and older children, and familiarity with a Mother’s Helper-style role is a plus. We would especially love to find someone who is proactive about seeking out local activities, enjoys connecting with other caregivers and families in the community, and is familiar with or interested in being part of the Twin Cities nanny community.
Job Duties:
The primary focus of this role will be providing engaging, attentive care for the family’s 10-month-old son during the afternoons. Responsibilities will include planning age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, taking walks and spending time outdoors, and managing meals and daily routines. When the 4-year-old is home from school or has a day off, the nanny will also engage him in fun, age-appropriate play and activities. During nap times, the role will transition into a Mother’s Helper position, assisting with light cleaning, playroom organization, children’s laundry, meal preparation, small household projects, and occasional errands. The family is also open to offering additional hours and occasional date-night support.
Position Highlights: Guaranteed hours, opportunity for additional hours
Qualifications: Experience, engaging, flexible, fun and reliable
Set yourself apart: Someone who is well connected with other nannies and fun, age-appropriate activities in the metro!
