A bit about us:
We’re a quirky, funny family of 4 with 1 tiny dog, and 1 chonky cat. As a family, we like the zoo, the Arboretum, looking at plants, the park, and KidSpace. If/when we have kid-free time, my wife likes reading books, and I enjoy quality time running errands with my awesome wife. I work from home most of the time, and my wife works a hybrid schedule.

Our 18-month-old daughter loves laughing, smiling, playing with water, and smashing things! The care is primarily for her. She also likes going for walks, pushing things with wheels, and putting things into containers. She will start daycare in early August 2025.

Our three-year-old daughter will be at daycare almost year-round. She likes 80s music; Boy George is her fav, but she also likes Wham! She is into anything with animals. She’s really funny! She likes to laugh, and she likes jokes. She’s a threenager with a lot of questions. She enjoys art and pretend play.

A bit about you:
You are pleasant, punctual, and reliable. You are cool in your authentic way! You are also pretty chill and not stressed easily. You are comfortable caring for children without the use of screens, and you enjoy going for walks. You are available to work with our family until early August 2025. You are comfortable deferring to the parents and checking with them on any big decisions.

Job Duties:
All childcare duties: diaper changes, feeding, applying skin medication for eczema, ensuring safety, engaging in age-appropriate play, putting down for naps, going to the park, playing in the backyard, folding children’s laundry, cutting up fruit, cleaning children’s cups/plates, washing bottles, and light cleaning.

Qualifications: You are CPR certified with 2-3 years of childcare experience with ages 18 months-3 years old, provide excellent care and safety, are comfortable in a home environment with parents who work from home, and are willing to work with mildly ill children. If you prefer to drive our younger child to outings (the park is within walking distance), you have a valid Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.

Set yourself apart: You are bilingual and can speak English and Spanish, and/or you are really creative!

Schedule: Wednesday-Friday (7:30a-4p)
    Duration: Starts ASAP and ends early August 2025

How to Apply:

Pay: $25-29 an hour
