Part-Time Nanny for Two School-Aged Girls (15-20 hrs per week) Placement

Seattle, WA
Part Time
Childcare
Mid Level
Jovie
Seattle, WA, USA

Summary:
A bit about us: We’re a warm, professional family in the Windermere neighborhood seeking a reliable, engaging, and patient nanny to provide after-school care for our two daughters, ages 7 and 9. Both parents are physicians with full schedules, and we value a caregiver who can step in confidently to ensure the afternoons run smoothly. The girls attend school in Wedgwood and participate in swim team several afternoons per week. Our previous nanny was with us for four wonderful years, and we hope to find another long-term fit who can grow with our family for years to come.

A bit about you: You’re dependable, organized, and naturally proactive- someone who can handle school pick-ups, homework help, and transitions to after-school activities with ease. You have a calm and patient presence, especially when guiding through homework or Kumon assignments, and you enjoy engaging children in creative or hands-on activities. A safe driving record, strong communication, and an ability to manage the after-school flow independently are essential. If you’re the type who takes initiative and loves building meaningful relationships with kids, we’d love to meet you.

Job Duties: Daily responsibilities include picking the girls up from school, driving to swim practices and occasional tutoring, preparing after-school snacks and simple dinners, and assisting with homework or reading practice. Our home is within a few miles of school and activities, making short, local drives the norm. Light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying up after meals or play and helping track grocery needs, are appreciated. No pet care is required, though we have a friendly mini Australian Shepherd at home. “Text NANNY to 206-752-6917 to apply and schedule your interview in under 3 minutes.
