A bit about us:
We’re a good-natured, kind, and lively family of 6 who prioritize education. Our three older children are in school together. Primarily, we are seeking a Nanny/Educator who will prepare our youngest child for an academically focused school while also providing fun and loving care. Sometimes you will be responsible for our 6-year-old son as well. Our scheduling needs change from week to week, but we will provide the weekly schedule in advance. During the week, the hours will be in the afternoons/evenings.

Our three-year-old child was born in China, and he is acclimating to his home in California. He’s a little shy, and might take some time to warm up. He and his 6-year-old brother both love Legos and all sports!

Job Duties:
Driving for school pick-ups and extracurricular activities using the family vehicle, leading playful structured lesson plans that focus on early Math, literacy, Science and social-emotional skills, preparing lesson and snacks, reading and conversing daily to foster language development, engaging in play, food safety and assisting with meals, bed/bathtime routine, managing calendars for the two youngest children, collaborating when needed with other household staff, light tidying of play areas, picking up after games/play programs,  some children’s laundry and occasionally picking up a few necessary items for children.

Qualifications: 3+ years of teaching experience (preschool, elementary, or in a similar child education role), previous childcare experience, native English speaker, eligible to work in the U.S., willing to sign an NDA, your home is 30 minutes or less from 94010 zip code or you would be willing to relocate, valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle to and from work.

Set yourself apart: You have 10 years of teaching experience as a preschool or elementary teacher, and/or toddlers are your favorite age group! You are extremely flexible and able to prioritize the family’s scheduling needs.
 
Approximate Schedule: Monday-Friday (2-9p)
               Saturday or Sunday (Hours TBD)
               Starting in August 2025!
              *Part-time hours available starting ASAP if desired.
                
How to Apply:

Pay: $40-$50 an hour
