Your responsibilities could include overseeing groups of children, following curriculum, playing games, and ensuring the overall well-being of the children while maintaining state standards of care! You will document and share the special moments and important milestones of the children in your care. You’ll engage children by leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and age-appropriate development.

Position Requirements:

  • Professionalism: We are looking for individuals who are serious about furthering their career in childcare or education and will take this job to heart.
  • Reliable: The ideal candidate will commit to working weekdays and has demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability in previous roles.
  • Committed: Must be able to successfully implement program activities from the site coordinator.
  • Collaborative: It takes a village and you should enjoy working as a team with other teachers and support staff to make the day great for the children and provide peace of mind for parents.
  • Transportation: You must have reliable transportation, so that you can arrive timely for your shifts.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) prior to being hired
  • 6 months or more of working with children outside of family
  • Ability to provide 2 childcare references and 1 character reference
  • Must be able to pass a detailed background screen
  • 12 ECE units required
  • Infant Teacher 12 ECE with Infant units
  • Willing to receive TDAP, MMR and Flu Shot
