Summary:
A bit about us: We are a loving family with 11-year-old twins who are entering middle school this fall. We have a friendly 13-year-old Labrador named Raffa who loves to be around people. Our family enjoys movies and popcorn, playing sports, and spending quality time together on weekends. Our son has a great sense of humor and is into soccer, while our daughter loves gymnastics and reading. Both kids enjoy board games, cards, and playing the piano. We prioritize kindness, efficiency, and a positive attitude in our household. As a single mom who works both from home and the office, I am looking for a reliable, kind, and efficient nanny to help with after-school care and household tasks!
A bit about you: The ideal nanny for our family is reliable, friendly, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. Key qualities we are looking for include reliability, adaptability, initiative, and independence. Consistent punctuality and dependability are essential, as well as the ability to adjust to the varying needs and routines of our household with ease. A self-starter who can manage tasks efficiently without requiring guidance, who can be attentive to the needs of the children and the household will be really appreciated. Job Duties:
- Picking up the children from school and taking them to after-school activities.
- Assisting with meal prep (chopping, peeling, simple cooking for kids).
- Overseeing and reminding the children to keep things tidy, such as keeping their rooms clean.
- Helping with household tasks such as laundry, dishes, checking the pantry for expired items, etc.
- Occasionally cooking meals, as requested.
Location: Kirkland, WA, 98033
Position Highlights: Fantastic city location, guaranteed hours, accrued PTO, long-term outlook, and agency support finding additional work hours if desired!
Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of experience with children ages similar to our children’s ages. Household management experience. Reliable and punctual, especially with pick-up times. Safe driving record and own vehicle preferred. COVID vaccinated. Glowing references from recent nanny families.
Set yourself apart: If you enjoy cooking, assistance with preparing dinner or light meal prep such as chopping veggies would be very appreciated.
Schedule: 20 hours a week guaranteed: M-F, 3/3:30 pm - 6:30/7:00 pm
Pay: $28-30 an hour
